Our Programs
Sankofa Parenting Cohort
Empowering Ministry Teams to Lead with Faith, Culture, and Community
The Sankofa Parenting Cohort is a collaborative journey designed to equip ministry leaders with culturally grounded, faith-based tools for engaging Black families and youth. Rooted in both traditional and modern Black Christian parenting practices, this program supports congregational teams in building vibrant, intergenerational ministries.
Our free online portal is a research-grounded, culturally rooted e-directory designed to support Black parents and caregivers in navigating Christian practices within everyday family life. The platform features a curated database of short videos, interactive learning modules, and family plans that explore the historical, cultural, and spiritual significance of Christian rituals and milestones. Developed by faith leaders, educators, researchers, and intergenerational content creators, each entry offers a guided demonstration, contextual insights, and practical tools parents can adapt for their own families. The portal centers diverse Black experiences, responds to current needs and trends, and equips families with trusted, accessible resources for meaningful learning and celebration at every stage of life.
